Introducing Free and Premium Versions of Zone.id

To maintain the quality and sustainability of the Zone.id service, we are officially launching Free and Premium versions for subdomain usage. This change is aimed at reducing abuse and ensuring fair and responsible usage by all users.

Comparison

Free Version

  • Public web only (e.g. Landing page, Blog, Online shop, CV/Resume, Company Profile, Docs, etc)
  • English or Bahasa Indonesia only
  • Max. 10 DNS records
  • Can set A/CNAME records on @ or www hostnames only
  • Inactive/Not configured website will be deleted
  • Lorem ipsum or dummy website will be deleted

Premium Version

  • Everything in Free, Plus:
  • Private web allowed (e.g. Login protected app, Api/Backend, etc)
  • Any languages allowed
  • Max. 20 DNS records
  • Can set A/CNAME records on any hostnames
  • Inactive/Not configured website will not be deleted

If your website meets the criteria for the Free Version, you don’t need to do anything. You can continue to enjoy our free service without any conditions.

If your website does not meet the criteria for the Free Version, please upgrade to the Premium Version to avoid subdomain suspension.

The deadline for upgrading is May 31, 2025.

How To Upgrade

For Non-Indonesian:

You can upgrade your subdomain by making donation to our ko-fi page as low as 1 USD per subdomain. Don't forget to put message (in private): "Upgrade subdomain: example.zone.id".

You can also upgrade multiple subdomains at once: "Upgrade subdomain: example.zone.id, dummy.zone.id, other.zone.id"

For Indonesian:

Untuk pengguna Indonesia, Anda dapat melakukan pembayaran melalui halaman QRIS.zone.id kami, sebesar Rp 10.000 per subdomain. Jangan lupa untuk menuliskan pesan: "Upgrade subdomain: example.zone.id"

Anda juga dapat upgrade beberapa subdomain sekaligus: "Upgrade subdomain: example.zone.id, dummy.zone.id, other.zone.id"
